ive been using a fl for a wile now and have come to know
the pro's and con's of the program.
but what i want to know is the prosess you people go through in order to build things up or to get things to work for you?
because i find it the most anoying part if making tunes.
siting there finding ways of making noise work for you
without playing turning things into key components before things have
balanced out.
ive listend to a lot of tracks made by pro's and 90% of them,
are put together with just key components.
i find it all a bit anoying so any clues or advice people? |

thats where less is more comes into play
you can produce a tune with 100 channels and it sounds crap
and you can produce a hit with 20 channels
intro
buildup
breakdown
ending
all you have to think about |

all you have to think about | i know what you meen and yes i do think in order ie start from the bottom and work my way up.
but in looking more for making things you need sound full and good without over effecting. other wise things become to bottom end and thin |

| Logical |
omfg that was so funny.
NOT.
I suggest listening to Deadmau5. He uses FL and does a great job with building things up and getting to a climax. |

i use my center keys c5/c6 and cut out all lower freqencies.
but it seems,at least with fl
thiers no escaping that synth like sound. |

See, you've got the hang of it.
I'll give the OP same advice I've given a thousand times: you need to route the flux capacitor to the modulator envelope. THEN use a crane to make it higher.

When I'm using a synthemisiser I have the same problem. How can I lose the synthness of the sound coming out of my synthefryer?

For the record, he uses logic now. And this is a great idea, I will attempt to get to a climax (which I've been having some trouble with for some time) through listening to repetetive 8th notes. I may also gain 2 inches as well:gsmile: Joel, do you have any advice for a guy trying to get to a climax? |
