I am still into vinyl. I have a lot of records.
I want to start djing again and I am looking for a record store that carries an updated selection of new vinyl records.
I used to buy from satellite records, dancerecords.com and plastic fantastic in the uk that used to have progressive house records that didn't make it to other shops. These where my main shops.
They don't exist or they don't carry vinyl. :(

I know there is a lot of stuff pressed on vinyl. Juno records in the UK still has vinyl but buying
from the UK the way the $ is now would be very expensive?
Are there any shops with new vinyl in the US?

The people on discogs charge a sh!t load of cash for shipping...

That just isn't true. While there are some vendors on Discogs who might jack their prices by gouging on shipping, they're few and far between. Mind, if you're buying vinyl from Europe and shipping to NA, you get what you deserve - nevermind the shipping rates, with the exchange alone, it's barely worth it in most cases.

Look up the releases you're seeking on Discogs, then check which vendors have those ones for sale. There are filters at the top of the listings, and you can set it so that it only shows items listed for sale in USD. Also, if you register and create a "wantlist", you can filter your selections by vendor, which makes it easy to find out if one vendor has several of the releases you're looking for.

Shipping from the U.S. to Canada can get a bit pricey, but since you're already in the U.S., it should be pretty reasonable, especially if you're ordering multiple items.

i got big pants
if your looking for in the states...i highly recommend dancerecords

any orders $50 of more free shipping...weekly updates

the only thing though is that for some releases, if you dont snatch them up that day...you'll have to wait a really long time before they restocked

but definately check them out. good samples, never got any warped records

Aren't HTFR US based? I buy my records (now downloads) of Juno Records, though it's in the UK.
