Only let down of the night; WTF was with the asian 50+ year olds in the club? I counted at least 20 on the dance floor at point alone!
Each to their own but I don't really wanna see people who are old enough to be my (grand) dad badly washing/epuddling on the dancefloor. Avalon need to sort their door policy on this. Real turn off and the reason we eventually left. |

Avalon has been like that for years, so you kind of have to just ignore it. |

First time for me (at Avalon) as I only moved here this year, and from posts on here about Avalon, I was totally expecting the asian crowd (60%+ in this case) but the over 50's?
It didn't actually bother me that much but it really annoyed the (asian) girl I was with - she kept saying it was like seeing her parents totally trashed in a club full of young people. They also weren't in to it - just standing there looking at people while rolling their off. |

| i find the washers will always move to the front.. stay a little to the middle of the crowd imo and you'll have both more space to dance and a better crowd in that area. i didn't really encounter any washers at all last weekend although normally i run into plenty... |
