| I was using Cubase SX 2 prior to getting Studio 4. What happened to the Q filter insert? Right now all I can find for eq'ing tracks is the one main equalizer that has a hi/low self and 2 other points. I often times tweek the sht out of tracks so.. Is there additional eq filters in Studio 4 or is there a vst plugin that does the same thing with parametric eq? |

click on the e on the track inspector of the track. That brings up the channel pane. The full graphic eq is there and you can change the type of eq from shelves to paras. |

| All the older plugins are on the Cubase DVD. Just copy them to your vstplugins folder. |

Is that right? Why the do they not just include it as part of the install?
Also, I remember seeing some of the older plugins on the steinberg FTP. Not sure if they are still there though as it was quite a while ago. |

Dunno i guess they figured if anyone really needs it they'll just copy it over themselves & they want to show off their new plugins.
Personally i find i cannot get by without Quadrafuzz, try it out on your bassline ;) |
