DUDE! same here with my GF. It drives me insane. She always reads about situations with telepathy or paranormal things explained... and describes the stories to me like she was there first hand and it's impossible to prove it isn't true. I just tell her it's impossible for me to prove there isn't a celestial teapot circling the earth too but I know it's bull.
She will argue with me till she's blue in the face, but of course with no actual research based anything... and it gets to the point where I get pissed and just tell her it's so rediculous that I don't even want to talk about the subject. I need to make her a tin foil hat |

I would say that Paranormal State is the most "realistic" of any of those shows, and the premise is kinda neat. The guy is a college student right? I don't remember. If you think this show is bad you should see Ghost Trackers or that TAPS show on Sci-Fi...that is terrible :stongue:
Anyone see that SNL sketch with Hugh Laurie and cast spoofing one of those ghost hunting shows? So funny. |

| I believe in strange happenings and the paranormal, but I've never really been creeped out by this show. Reminds me of that staged-alien-abduction TV special a long time back.. Just blatantly obvious. |
