I caught him in Montreal, Canada this thursday 20th november. He was amazing and I had so much fun ... it was incredible. You guys will have so much fun; I have huge respect for Joachim he is an incredible DJ that does a DJ set with some live aswell (he has a keyboard-guitar!!).
this is a pic of him last thursday at Time supperclub in Montreal; he was very nice!

| i had a blast..mad fun chillin with just a few people..the few ppl were Me,Matt,Lauren,Zack,Kerrine,Jimmy Vallance & his boy..oh yea and Funkerman was with us for a lil bit haha..i left a lil after Joachim went on..ill let Matt explain the music haha |

| music the whole night was great all around Zach had a great opening set to leave it off to funkerman. Funkerman destroyed the room with a good track selection of dirty tech house with a touch of vocals over it :)... Now Joachim garraud is the definition of French house was very tech n with his live performance on the keyboard made his performance even more interesting... Had a great time hanging out wit G kerrine Zach jimmy his boy n Lauren was a nice chill night :) |

lool it's a actually a keyboard - guitar => keytar!
2 days earlier when I saw him in Montreal he played pjanoo aswell; and i bet he also played acid boy (by joachim garraud himself) and yoshimoto - du what u du and lots of others. I love jojo!
By the way; did he put on acid boy? That's when all the club people clap their hands to the beat while Joachim plays with the keytar!

ha didnt i write Keytar? nd i thought it was a Keyboard + Guitar?..idk what acid boy sounds like and if he played Yoshimoto i may have left earlier sincecheck the 1ar goto |

fun night indeed. Nice hanging out with Gerard, Matt and Keryn.
I really enjoyed Funkerman's set. His set reminded me of Fedde le Grand last weekend, but without all the really commercial tracks.
Joachim was fun as well. He's not your typical dj, in that he doesn't claim, or aim to be a super underground dj. He played a lot of really well known tracks / remixes...and the crowd ate him up. I really like his approach to mixing as well. He did a lot of looping, quick cuts, which really kepy things interesting.
opening and closing was a blast as always. Looking forward to hearing what MIKE and Martin bring this Friday. |
