in all probability this election will end up like the 2000 election.
have you seen even half of the news stories about some districts having too many registered voters; voters wearing candidate propaganda like t-shirts or pins supposedly won't be allowed in into the polling stations, discrimination, voter fraud...
not to mention the fact that there will be a load of electronic voting machines used all over the country, which itself might prove to be a huuuuuuge problem. (i'll sum up the electronic voting thing; three and only three software companies developed the programs that are going to be used. no outside third party consultants are or were allowed to check the code for integrity and/or backdoor access. and this was written into the federal electronic voting act back in the early days of the the bush administration.)
but yeah i hope it goes down smoothly.
