Is your DVD player meant for playing VCD?
tranceaholic
i dont know..if it doesnt is there anything i can do about it..software or something? iwould to watch my vids on teh big screen :D
j_spot
my guess is that your Dvd player isnt VCD compatible.

Either that or it doesnt like the brand of CD you use. maybe try changing disks(from blue, to green or gold) and see if that works.

is it possible to play a vcd on your comp and watch it on tv with the help of a cable?
tranceaholic
it is but i think u need a special card for that..
flystyler
Yes, if you have a tv graphics card, u can use the tv as a monitor, and watch vcds using anything like media player

Oh and not many dvd players can play vcds, only the good ones. So it shoudl say in the instruction manual. But i dont no a hell of a lot about dvd players.
dmcilwaine
i think mainly japanese dvd players (like aiwa) play vcds because they are a recognised medium over there, some even play mp3s
yea, it should tell you in the instructions
