VCD help plz

| hey everybody..i created a vcd using nero but when i try to play it on my dvd player..the dvd says disc error..whats the deal? do i need to do anything else? thank u |

my guess is that your Dvd player isnt VCD compatible.
Either that or it doesnt like the brand of CD you use. maybe try changing disks(from blue, to green or gold) and see if that works. |

Yes, if you have a tv graphics card, u can use the tv as a monitor, and watch vcds using anything like media player
Oh and not many dvd players can play vcds, only the good ones. So it shoudl say in the instruction manual. But i dont no a hell of a lot about dvd players. |

i think mainly japanese dvd players (like aiwa) play vcds because they are a recognised medium over there, some even play mp3s

Yep, the teac dvd player, teach being a japan brand, can play mp3s on rewrittable cds, unlike hifis that wont. And it can play vcds and dvds :) |
