The vocal sample is from one of my all time FAVORITE blues tracks.
"Hard Time Killing Floor Blues", original by Skip James, but the sample is the version by Chirs Thomas King that appeared in the movie "O Brother Where Art Thou", in the scene around the campfire.
I've been coincidentally listening to the tune a lot lately, its lyrics are rather apt in these times.
But god damn this track is ing good.

This is the track of the year for me. It just embodies the direction I love.
I've always wanted to make a tune sampling this, and to have Guillaume do it perfectly...it feels like christmas came early!

Thanks for posting this, Clovis. This is quite a solid tune, with some really thoughtful sampling and layering. Although, I don't play this type of EDM too often, I can see this track working well with quite a few other genre varieties. Very cool to hear the original's first, to get a feel for where this track is coming from. It's in the beatport crate. :)
