After listening to Freesoup's remix of the same tune , i got the urge to be a copycat and remix it:D
I started this a couple of days ago and this is the first rough draft.
And would like anyone to take a moment to listen and see if there is anything you can suggest.

hey dude not bad so far, add some more layers with a couple more motifs or melodies. The percs sound nice, maybe beef up the bass a touch.
There's also too much compression, its squashing the track making it sound odd, but 1st draft so only a minor thing. Good work so far mate |

You need to step back and listen to your bassline sounds. A sub bass should be very deep and low in volume as standard from your plug in - you will probably need to compress this and crank the output gain up to give that warm low end buzz. I recommend using the v-station for basslines - subtractor is also good if you use re-wire reason.
Your bass should be made up of 3-5 levels - sounds which may only seem to have minimal input make all the difference and e.q-ing is very important. A lot of the time people get carried away with filter frequency, but a lot of the time it makes the sound muddy. You will in some form or another need to side chain all your bass sounds, even just a tiny bit.
Your melody work is nice, taking a lot from the original but it is brought down by the bassline, which I think its the hardest part of producing trance. I can provide you with the piano midi if you wish :) |

The bassline does need work and i am learning about it surely albiet a bit slow:) . If you could send me that midi , i would be greatfull. |
