Hmmmmm
I enjoyed Kaskade's set last time @ Vangaurd after 3 night in a row of Tiesto's hard/dark trance.
Kaskade seemed like a good dj to check out w/ a chick. |

hey guys if i get presales what time can you swing by heat to pick up tickets so that entry is smooth once we arrive to the club. the plan is to hit up robbie rivera next week and $10 before 10pm sounds good, but rather have the presales($13 after service charges) and have the freedom to show up after 10pm. I assume its pretty easy entrance for those with pre-sales right?
most of the reviews on yelp of this place are very negative :rolleyes:

... Heat Ultra Lounge is actually pretty sweet... the reports on yelp were written by timid people who obviously don't buy pre-sales to avoid the lines........
BTW, Donald Glaude was there on Halloween... I found this out the day of, bought a VIP ticktet to avoid the line... and had a f-ing rocking time... the place was going off... I'd for sure go back there on a weekend (not just Giant Thursday).
The lights are sick at this place too... MAD PROPS TO HEAT FOR A KICKASS HALLOWEEN!!! |

thanks! so if i have the presales I should be good to go then huh? I just really dont enjoy the Socal club scene
and much prefer SF/SD. Not really up for robbie at vanguard so giving heat and giant thursdays a shot. hope it goes well.

Also, all the Yelp reviews are for the uber-crowded friday/saturday events, since Heat is the "OC club of the moment" so everyone and thier mom wants to be there. Thursdays are completely different, as it's people there for the music and not for people-watching. |

I opened that night! Definitely dug spinning on that Tiesto set up. The monitors on stage that night in rocked! Not that the normal ones they have up there don't. But I had the Tiesto "I am god light" that night too :D
