Well, tomorrow, game 7, kings vs lakers :)
If anyone has been watching these games, I wanna hear some opinions on something I'm about to say.
Officiating sucks!
Yeah, im the typical kings fan here. We all do bi*ch about that walker three at the end of game.....4. I can sympathize with the refs, they can never call that, theyre only human. Now, the kings do get lots of breaks, but generally, lakers tend to get more.
Now...about kobe running into bibby. how is anyone going to miss that call? the refs screwed up on that baron davis shot, but it was impossible to precisely see that shot without replay. same with reggie. but if some 6'7 elbows some guy thats shorter than I am (6'0), he doesnt get free throws! :whip:
just my little thing about officiating. leave your thoughts here.
btw, sorry for posting during the world cup. USA USA USA USA! ;) |

| Hey Phase four, I'm down the kings as well man. I really want the Lakers to get beaten and not reach the finals. It would be interesting to see Webber and Bibby have a go at winning the championship. |

| First of all the lakers are going to smash Sacremento Tommorow ;). As far as the officiating goes it is horrible, and inconsistent. but I dont think kings fans can complain because L.A. has gotten just as many bad calls as Sacremento. Kobe DID get fouled at the end of game 5 and shaq SHOULD NOT have fouled out AND when the ball went out of bounds we should of got it. L.a has also gotten some calls in there favor that they shouldnt have. So unfortunatly it looks like todays game is going to be decided by the officials and not the teams, which is a real pitty. |

I wasnt talking about that call. I said game 5 when kobe took the last shot. However in game 6 Biby hooked his arm around kobe be fore kobe ran over him, so imo it was still a good no call. |

Introducing the weatern confrence champs:
The Los angeled lakers
woohooooooooooo
for all u sacramento fans tough luck:haha:
dude u should change ur sig from go kings to oh well maybe next year
no offense |
|

ill change my sig in a sec...
well, ill still be a kings fan. and responding to nadi, i can remember chris webber fouling jarrin (sp?) collins in the chest on accidnet. level two flagrant foul, fine, suspension and all that other good stuff. Its just really depressing to see the kings just lose a series that was supposed to be over in five
next year...we'll have something awesome. were gonna keep bibby. maybe no yao ming ( ), but were gonna have a nucleus thats gonna stick for many years. one cannot expierence happiness without first encountering saddness. This game, we did encounter sadness, and were gonna take it to em next year. Kings forever!!!!!!
lakers fans: dont flip over cop cars mmmmk :)
of course, im keeping my head up, except for the fact that i have examinations tomorrow. The only thing in the world that can ever depress me is the IB program (hahaha jp). Me and this other d00d are the only other sac residents here. If u are the other guy.....keep ur spirits high!
i dunno who to cheer for for the finals...may the better team win. naturally, i might cheer for the nets...but kidd is a wifebeater.
again, ill still root for the kings! ill just need some solar coaster to keep me up for the next half hour. btw, since were on it...isnt that out on promo or somehting?
lets keep this tread goin till the end of the season!
head held high, even in defeat

Im one of the biggest Laker fans you'll ever meet. Ive been with them since the days of Magic, Worthy, Scott, Kareem, etc. And ill admit, the lakers have had a few suspect calls go their way. But say what you want about all the calls....Shaq still has the most amount of no calls in the league. The refs miss so many fouls on shaq due to his size. For example, look at all the calls Divac got for flopping like a beached whale. I saw little Derek Fisher run into him and the was Vlade tumbled youd think he got shot or something. Shaq on the other hand is about 360lbs. of pure muscle and wouldnt budge of he got hit by a truck!! I think a few things has to be done in the NBA as far as the rules are concerned.
1.) bring in the instant replay
2.) call more technicals for bitching and whining.
i just like to see a smoothly played game without all the retarded theatrics that go along with every game nowadays it seems.
Just a thought.........maybe if Webber wasnt such a baby and whined to the refs, Kobe wouldnt of hit that technical, and the game never wouldve even gotten to overtime........all laker fans thank you Chris Webber. Timeout baby, timeout. |

Agree! If not for that via-Webber-out-of bounds-non-call, LA still would have had the ball and the Kings wouldn't even have a chance for that Game-winner by Bibby! Lakers would have been UP by 3-2, so I think it's only fair that they eventually won the series :)

That would only dramatically slow the match down and take every player out of his game... Sure there a some situations where you can apply instant replay (like that out-of-bounds incident of game 5), but not for EVERY possible foul...
