Do you turn your music down when next to other cars?

...or just roll your windows up, if they're down (assuming it's loud enough for others to get a good sense of either way)?

Just curious as to who feels it necessary to make these adjustments when in close distance to others.

I always make an effort to do this.
tubularbills
not really, no.

i only do it if my windows were down and i was cruisin on the interstate, and then i slow down and come to a stop. that's about it.

Yeah, gotta watch out for the 'volume adjusted for speed/road noise' factor :D

i don't like random people staring at me while i'm in my car, and blasting house music will definitely get you some looks i'm sure. so yea, i turn it down a little lol

I turn it down just because I'm paranoid or something.

Yes, I'm especially mindful to turn down anything with a 4/4 kickdrum.

Nothing like the resonant WHOMP-WHOMP-WHOMP to single yourself out.

You either look gay or Persian.
