Gears of War 2 Out Today!!! What games do you play? (pg. 3)

I am pretty backed up with games right now, ugh. I usually have a console game or two plus a portable game I am playing at one time.
Right now for portables, I have:
PSP 3000: Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters
DS: Castlevania: Order Of Ecclesia
PS3: Resistance 2
PS3: LittleBigPlanet
I have Gears Of War 2 waiting in the wings for when I finish Resistance 2 single-player, and Chrono Trigger comes out for the DS later this month, so I hope to finish Castlevania before then. Not only that, but I managed to finally snag a copy of Wii Fit when they were on sale at Amazon the other day! |

There was a website where you could sign up for the beta.
I tried it a couple of times and from what I saw it's a typical WWII shooter. Nothing special in my book -- I'll pass. Especially when there's so much other good stuff coming out. |

| GEARS 2 is ing sick yo! Campaign mode is absolutely stunning, my big ass 73" screen is looking pretty bad ass. The new Call of Duty is also looking pretty freaking awesome. |

| Got my 360 when Halo 3/CoD4 came out so I didn't even have a chance to play the first GoW, yet, since I barely have time to play the first two games as is. Obviously I'm missing out and look forward to playing GoW first before catching up to GoW2. |

Got it right off the Xbox Live marketplace. Just got to new arrivals. You might not be able to download it anymore but give it a shot.
And Gears 2 is ing BAD ASS!!! The graphics are actually a little better than 1.
I only have 2 problems with the game in general. I prefer 1st person shooters. And I don't like that there's no solo mode in the multiplayer. All team stuff. Unless I'm playing with my friends I don't really like using the headset. Too many jackasses online. |

dude - the graphics look a hell of a lot better than the first one!
The fight with the monster in the underground lake was probably one of the coolest things I've ever played through in a game.
It does need a deathmatch though, UT3 style. |
