So I had a play on one of these last night and I was blown away by what it can do. Now for those who have used one of these will know that you can put layer on top of layer in sync all beatmatched and phrased nicely. but i noticed after a while i would have too many sounds playing and it would get a bit crap... can you go back in to the system somehow and remove a previously added layer whilst allowing the others to continue looping over? does anybody even know what I am talking about?
anyways any feedback would be appreciated... this is what the product is for anyone who has never seen it..

Looks nice but, from the connections it looks as if it is Mono.

Now, I might be completely retarded, but that looks like TWO rca-outputs. And by looking at the product information and specs it is. What made you think it's mono?

Nevermind.

Don't know how to answer your question b/c I don't have one unfortunately :( But the demo vid I saw a year back for this thing looked insane.

Oh yeah, the actual question in the original post.

As far as I know, you can only remove the latest recorded layer, not deeper than that. Or if you want to go to the "special" mode and have twice as long "song" you get no cancel at all. :P

I have a Korg KM 202 mixer. its awesome

so it sounds like i can go one layer back on the fly... i guess i can work with that in some senses... either way folks, this thing is a lot of fun, get your hands on one asap! it would be a lot of fun on a rainy day as well as using it in a set, oh the possibilities are endless...

I played with my friend's Kaossilator for about an hour last night and had a lot of fun. I really want to get one for myself now. I don't know how good it is to record whole tracks though, since the options are pretty limited. I think it would make a great live tool, though, to complement a DJ setup.
