MAETRIK (live)
(Treibstoff, Iron Box Music)
Eric Estornel, under the names MAETRIK, MARIEL ITO, and simply ESTORNEL - has been contributing to his musical world around him since 1993. Eric has always searched for the future of electronic dance. Not being confined by rules of styles or genres is most important to Eric, as he makes his way through a political and fickle industry. by 96 he was already developing his unique blend of techno, electro, and breakbeats. Fast foward to present day, Eric with all of his different sudonyms has gained the respect of Djs, Artists, and music Enthusiasts worldwide. Maetrik's recent ventures have sent him to headline the world's most respected and renowned clubs such as Sven Vath's Cocoon Club and Treibtoft in Germany as well as DVI in France. His recent discography highlights include remixing Trentemoller for Tic Tac Toe Records as well as work on Claude Von Stroke's Mothership label and being featured on the legendary Fabric compilation series.
along with
KOMPOSIT
(Lobotomy, EQ, Auralism, Atlanta)
Komposit: An alter ego of Damon Fonooni's (Habersham) aimed squarely at the sounds of bastardized Techno, Tech-House and Experimental/IDM. As hypnotic as he is alien, Komposit also serves as a stage presence in which the audience is provided with a unique, intense experience: sound loops designed specifically for each show truly pushing the 'live' context of electronics with complete deconstruction and reconstruction of infectious tech-based grooves, noise, and harmonics; A new presence for a new era.

| hopefully you guys get better sound..my gigs there have always been horible due to sound issues..monitors in booth dont work and only one speaker upstairs actually works and the whole setup has zero bass. The kompression shows are not going to get better venues? |

Did you read the top 2 lines?
"PLEASE NOTE: For this event we will be redesigning the layout of Halo and placing the booth in a new spot to create more of a dancefloor feel to the venue plus we are working on bringing in more sound for the night."
Plus you do know they have installed an entirely new Turbo Sound System into the venue right? |

| I read those lines..thats why I said hopefully you will have better sound. When they installed the new speakers, I played on them too..didnt sound any different. I know you will put a good show together and have it setup right, I play techno myself only and have never had any luck with their setup there. |

I've never heard of these DJs but I think my girlfriend and I may hit this up. I've never been to Halo but I'm looking forward to checking it out as it's a block from my crib.
And $7.00 tickets make me :D...
