i miss 1015 :( i'm still disciplining myself and barely going out anywhere at all these days, until i finish my grad thesis due dec 12 :( it's kind of nice saving money though
but if i was going out tonight, i'd check out a pystrance party at the gingerbread house. |

| i got another parking ticket last night because apparently the street i parked on needs to be cleaned 4 days a week and the city can only afford to post that fact on the far end of the block in the opposite direction, so unless i have a ride to sf i'm getting smashed in los gatos. you dpt. |

So do you mean the sign was across the street? That would have nothing to do with your block.
Or just contest it for the hell of it...you'll get another month or two to pay the fine in the end lol |

no i mean the one posted sign on the entire block that had the street cleaning times, which was located on the far end of the block and obstructed by trees unless you walked up about 20 feet from it. i guess i have to walk up and down every block i park on before i can tell if it's ok to park there because it's too hard for the city to post it on both ends. i love how newsom preaches his campaign to draw in more bay area tourism while maintaining policies that are clearly there to nickel and dime people in tourist areas. has anyone ever walked into the dpt office on van ness? it's a god damn cash cow with a nonstop stream of people there waiting to pay for parking tickets from open to close. what a lucrative business.

Ah...well, I'd argue just to delay. In a story kinda similar to yours, I had a car towed once becasue it became a tow-away zone like 20 minutes after I parked...I actually looked all over the place when we parked for restrictions and couldn't see any so thought things were cool (and all the spots around there were full)....but alas, there were the Tow-Away zone (during a specific time) signs posted like 10-12 feet up on a couple polls, all between dense trees...you literally had to get right up near them to read, but I didn't even know there were any there to begin with.....but still lost the argument in the end. :(
