i remember reading a few days ago someone asking for a pic of tiesto when he showed up at skybar on canada day.. cant find the thread though. anyway found this one in my photos:

That was right before I reminded Tiesticle that he owed me $75. That smile disappeared almost as fast as he did.
Perhaps that's the equivalent of shrinkage for him. |

Well I couldn't see the stage from the 3rd floor, didn't need to see Tiesto in preson (been there done that enough times in my life), I was there for the music..... Now it makes even more sense that Tiesto finished his set at 4:30ish, it means he was great to the end of his set.
I don't know why people are so angry here.... We can all have our own opinions without getting so hasty. |

well for the first five minutes I thought it was Tiesto still as well. He finished and gave his bow, and then I thought he would do another 3-4 encore tracks, like he normally would, but no. He just left.
I wouldn't say people are necessarily angry, but more opinionated because TAs on here have seen Tiesto quite a few times. I know i've seen him about 6 times I think, and this was the only time I was disappointed when leaving the venue.
Most people generally know what the expect when they go see him, and if that expectation isn't met then they rightfully have a reason to be disappointed. A lot of people on her prefer to display that disappointed as hatred, but you have to learn that this is TA lol.

Yes, TOTA is very different indeed than the TA I'm used to! Or was used to a few years ago because I haven't posted in years... I also have seen Tiesto many times before, though always in Israel and not here in Toronto. I came to Circa with zero expectations for Tiesto because have you been listening to his sets lately?? They are all pretty ty and commercialized, some of the tracks I wouldn't even call trance... Tiesto is not what he used to be a few years ago, and that is okay, it happens to DJs... No one can take those amazing years and his achievements away from him - I still respect him very much as a DJ and a producer. I guess it is all relative to what you were expecting. I personally thought, that for trance these days, he gave a good set. |
