Thanks very much for sharing. :)

And thanks for listening. It gives me a bit of confidence when I know there are people who will try a mix if I put it up. I appreciate that.

this was awesome jack, very good selection and flow, the part from planisphere to fluke mix of trisco was my favourite. there was some messy transition levelwise i think after that but nothing that bothered me too much. well done.

Thanks a lot. If you're talking about the transition I'm thinking of, I know what you mean. There were a couple of moments when the mix really wasn't working and I had to just bring the track in all in one go when some of the rhythm cut out.

There we go. Haven't had time to listen properly yet, only about half... but I like what I'm hearing (surprisingly enough).

Thanks a lot for the hosting. Much appreciated.

Nice mix of tracks I knew and ones I didn't. Sounds like you're a stickler for key signatures too which really makes it coherent and Northern Exposure-y.

Off all the music I own, and that's a load, I've always thought Northern Exposure to be among the very best. Part 1, CD 1 is sensational.

I'll certainly d/l this

Great idea - cheers

I'm actually pretty intuitive with harmonic mixing- I don't work out the keys of any of the tracks I use and I find out if they're in key simply by trying out the mix and seeing how they sound. I only really had to change a couple of tracks in this mix because of harmonic issues- the bulk of the mix just fell into place naturally.

Thanks for the feedback, anyway.
Shudder

Ah well, it sounds good anyways. In my mind harmonic mixing is more avoiding unpleasant key changes than only choosing good ones.
