So yesterday some of my friends wanted to go shooting. I met up with them before we took off to the canyons to fire off some rounds. I got to my friends house and they told me i should buy a weapon. I told them i only want an Heck and Koch 9MM MP5. At this point i really don't feel like paying around $1,700 plus the $200 ATF tax stamp...not including the high cost of ammo. Also in the back of my mind was having to get rid of it when eventually i come back to CA.

Anyways while we were getting ready to go to the gun store to buy ammo, Die Hard came on...low and behold they were using the MP5.

As soon as i went to the store a light shined. Now i didn't want the light to shine because i really had not intention of buying anything other than ammo. But it was there...The GSG-5P pistol. The .22 caliber clone of the MP5. It was like the best of ALL worlds.

The thing looks, feels, weighs, just like the MP5 except its the the tiny .22 caliber! At only $520 Best of all with the 10 round magazine it is CA legal! woohoo!

Only crappy thing is that they have aluminum screws to hold the body in that started stripping right off the get go. Replacing it with MP5 retainer pins.

Upgrades on their way: six 22-round capacity, a reflex-type red-dot sight, and a sub-machine gun case.

Pros for buying something i don't need:
1. At $520 its cheap, (not including all the extra crap i just bought for it.
2. Ammo is super cheap since it uses the .22 caliber. Since i don't plan on need any type of stopping power (i.e killing anything, the caliber is not important for me.
3. Fast and easy to reload.
4. SUPER FUN! We had 9mm sub machine guns, .45 handguns, AR-15's and a few other weapons of higher caliber.... It was the little .22 that was the most.

Cons:
1. I hate impulse spending.

... very nice.... the only one I can financially justify is the good old Remington 870... that is, with a pitol grip, extended barrel and collapsible stock though...haha!!
