| I wanted to go but couldn't make it. The vids on youtube for the Invol2ver kickoff look incredible. |

Lucky you.
Everyone not wearing a 3 piece suit was turned away and denied entrance, even with tickets in hand, and event to people on Sasha & Three's guest list.
It was very sad, I was looking forward to it. |

I don't know what was their problem. I was wearing jeans, nice shoes, and a button down long sleeve and was about to walk in, but he then rejected my friend behind me. He was wearing jeans, nice shoes, and a short sleeve button down. I asked what was wrong, and he said "he doesn't meet the dress code, he has short sleeves."
Right after he said that, he let in like 5 random groups of people. All of the groups included at least one guy with either a polo, t-shirt, or a short sleeve button down shirt.
The bouncer offered us refunds, we'll see if that even goes through. They said that they wrote down "refund" next to our names, and are going to forward it to wantickets, who supposedly will credit our accounts.
All in all, Set. It was a Sunday night for crying out loud. |

Damn sorry to hear that bro spread the word let it be known that club sucks as in terms of dress code rules. :whip: |

| and just to add on to it, there was a group of 5 guys in line before us that did not have tickets. They refused to let them in unless they paid $1,000 in bottle service. |

I went to Sasha last night at Set. A decent set, but nothing amazing from "The man like". There were however some bright spots when he pulled off some pretty amazing mixes. I thought he played mostly a tech house type set that quite honestly was boring at times. I left around 4 am. Unless it was an amazing last hour, then I don't think you'll missed too much.
And yes it was really tough getting into Set even with pre-sale tickets. I saw several people get turned away for not meeting the dress code. Which as someone else mentioned was applied at will and not to all. The main problem was it was just too crowded. It would have been better to have it somewhere else that could accommodate the large crowd. |

| I don't think couples would have a problem getting in but yeah those rules are bogus. Good thing insane talent doesn't roll through there. |

i gotta say i agree with everything you wrote...
my review
i was wicked exhausted form deysn and squillace...didnt wake up till 6 pm and couldnt find my phone (wtf)...decide to get dinner and its only like 10 and im like do i go early bc Set is gonna eba night mare or do i wait till 12 and go when the reg miami people go...i went 12...
had my ticket...waited patiently for near 40 minutes
saw 4 tables get sold while was there...saw people turned away bc they didnt look the part...heard weave jokes...saw rampent pushign to the head of the line and tbh...it was annoying bc after just walking into safe and space the prev nite...i get that they wanna make it look like the hot spot (which it is...its a really nice club that had every table booked...but set it up that if u were one of the regulars to buy resales that u can wait on the other side (even if it means waiting 40 minute.s...the pushign and shoving got annoying)
got inside...near impossible to get up front so i chilled on the side and in the back
thought his set was kinda slow and boring,...just as u though he was gonna build it up and kill u...he tapped off...even with his ending...
his last hr of his set was really great...id say a 4.5/5
the club is amazing...the drinks are pricey and not generous...the tables make it near impossibel to get around...the atmosphere is breathtaking...this place could be so much more and it isnt at the same time
having seen sasha many times...i think u really had to be on something to like his set...bc there were a few tracks that he played that didnt really fit into the set...but they were those "wtffff is he playing trippy "
it was very soft and after hearing desyn kill it, sos kill it, squillace kill it...my bar was set high for sasha to bang out the weekend for me and he didnt
overall a 5/10...i think id like to listen to his set on my ipod to chill out to, not hear it in the club...thats how i felt |
