The Smoked Meat Thread

So several colleagues were having the inevitable debate at work the other day, each claiming that a different locale serves up the best jot smoked meat sandwiches in Montreal. Off the top of my head the standouts are Schwartz's, Lester's, Dunn's and Ruben's. I'm sure this thread has been done before but that was before my time so I am posting it again.
Personally I'm gonna have to go with Schwartz's. I think they steam their smoked meat for a longer period of time then the other places, which is why it falls apart so easily. Of course, this I think is what makes it my favorite. Dunn's does have the smoked meat club, however, which I hear is pretty mean. |

Funny thing, the place where I work I've discovered does not use very honest tactics to acquire new customers. Whatever, as long as I collect my pay I suppose. |

I personally prefer Smoked Meat Pete's.
And yeah, it's all about the Black Cherry cola :crazy:
Schwartz is on the way home for me though...
sometimes I'll pick up some meat and just make my own sandwich:

| Smoked Meat Petes is ok...nothing spectacular. I prefer Abies (on St. Jean in the waste island) over S.M.P....but Schwartz's is still number 1 |
