Coming for the weekend in a bit and I am wondering what your favorite hotels are.

We want something boutique style in Old Montreal or downtown.

We don't need it budget priced but want to keep it *below* The W Hotel prices.

Any suggestions are appreciated! :)

I suggest using hotwire if you are going to rent a hotel...
Oneeleven
No, no Hotwire this time. We want a special hotel as we will actually enjoy it a bit for this trip.

Museum of Modern Art, Shopping, dinner, club.. hotel :)

PS: Any dinner suggestions would be appreciated too.

Anything but Italian.

Thanks MLTAs!

Middle of the road. Like $200 for two meals and a bottle of wine type of thing.

A boutique hotel in Old Montreal, check out "St Paul"

So $100 per meal, this per person or for 2 people?
Allied Nations
Le Gault

Hotel Crystal is pretty sweet, decent packages available:

There was this amazing resto my ex took me to in Old Montreal, and when you go inside there's this huge patio courtyard...sooooo nice and beautiful and price wasn't crazy at all...looking for the name right now...

...I think it might be resto du vieux port but i don't remember there being a huge indoor resto, but maybe because it was summer and there was this gate-type entrance that led directly into the massive terrace. The terrace was so beautiful, with the white french-style exteriors of other buildings visible, adjacent to the the terrace. it was like this massive courtyard. SO NICE. Will totally be going back there.

Again, not sure if it's this, but the shot of the people dining on the terrace from this website sorta reminded me of it:

NO!!! it's Jardin Nelson!!! lol checked out some new pics and they have all these weird structures covering the terrace now...it wasn't like that when I went like 2 or 3 years ago.

anyway, very charming place, right in the centre of Old Montreal:

I was in the mood for seafood before the game last night, and tried this restaurant called The Oyster Shack on Bishop (Below St Catherine.)I was really not expecting it to be as good as it was. Decent prices (for seafood,if you want something that is not Red Lobster it will cost you), good surf and turf, and probably the best oysters rockafeller i have had in montreal.

With a decent bottle of wine and tip 2 people could eat great for 200$.

To answer your pm:

Crystal de la Montagne :) (i think its referred to as Le Crystal on hotels.com.)

VERY worth the price. Central location, (one block from St. Catherines and one or two blocks from the Bell Centre), GORGEOUS rooms, very modern and perfect service. I have never been more happy with a hotel. Will continue to choose this for my montreal visits :)

The Crystal hotel looks gorgeous! wow

we ended up getting a room at Le Germain. It looks awesome.

Still haven't decided on dinner yet.

Thanks for the suggestions guys.
