Stranger is coming along good, but still is far from being done. I'd look into that off=beat open hat, is too loud compared to the mix.
Also when you put everything together the kick sounds low in volume and distorted, so I think you need to apply some basic compression in the kick and bassline.
The lead sounds too loud, the idea is having the lead as equal to the kick or let the kick stand out a little more, this is not the case here.
I'd use some pads along the way as well, preferably side chained or gated.
The supportive melodies, such as the Acid lines, and the Sound FX, look into thir volumes as well.
So in other words your problems are centered in the volume levels of each element and lack of depth, also compressiion is needed in the kick, and those leads. |
