Listening to this set again. This must be about the 20th time.
Only thing is that when you pitch up in the middle of the tune, you can kinda tell.
Lush! |

So, after listening to this 10 or 15 times, I realised I hadn't posted back with any comments.
Just a gorgeous set Myra, so much feeling in this. The first part, especially, makes me want to go and dig up my trip-hop and down-tempo collection from the 90s.
Great work :) |

| Just want to say that I enjoyed this set. Can't say anything more as I'm sure other people have already covered what I wanted to say. |

| you already know what i think of this.. great stuff, and glad to see this epic vision of a downtempo set finally come to light (how long was this idea being bounced around? 4 months? 5 months? haha) |

I've listened once. All I kept thinking was it all sounded so "Eastern."
Although I still prefer the first four of Summer, I'll give this another go. |

heh, yeah... you know where my head's been at. i've been thinking about it for ages but once i started working on it, it only took me a few days to do what i wanted to do with it.
glad you're all enjoying it. makes me very happy. :) |

Where to start on this mix. I am not sure I have heard such a well put together set since that Coldcut madness mix of years ago. All the tracks just gelled together and your ability with Ableton allowed you to squeeze out frequencies on the incoming track until the perfect time when you dropped the track in completely. Must have taken you ages to put this set together as it also sounds to be mixed in key but this might be an accident? ;).
Remarkable set of some excellent tunes and one I will listen to again and again.
Thanks. |
