*Your Tax Dollars*
When NASA first started sending up astronauts, they quickly discovered that
ball-point pens would not work in zero gravity.
To combat this problem, NASA scientists spent a decade and $12 billion
developing a pen that writes in zero gravity, upside down, underwater, on almost
any surface including glass and at temperatures ranging from below freezing to
over 300° C.
The Russians used a pencil.
Enjoy paying your taxes.

you CAN get a pen that works anywhere. the story IS true, there really IS a space pen, but it didn't cost 12 billion bux to develop. that's just ridiculous.
i saw it in a magazine once, you can order it from somewhere. its just a pen that has a pressurized ink tube thingy, so that the ink comes out even in zero gravity, or upside down. but its just one of those things that people with small penises and too much money buy. a 25 cent bic pen works just fine on earth, =P. |
