I was invited to a small gathering of car enthusiasts who meet up at an English pub, once a month on a sunday. It was the first time I had been and it was pretty boring...
This was the first thing I saw when we pulled up in my friends Porsche.
A quick walk around and then there was this mediocre vehicle decided to open up its engine bay
And then these 3 decided to muscle in and divert some attention to themselves
All in all, it was regular petrolhead fare, but the best bit is everyone departing the car park in a truly outrageous fashion. I have a video clip of the two Veyrons whooshing off into the distance, and a couple of F40's laying some nice black lines on the roads.
All in all, an average Sunday morning pretty much...

The Enzo had a custom titanium exhaust system. It actually sounded like the world was ending. The Veyrons are very subdued and refined, the biggest noise they make is the wind behind them. The F40's were just ridiculously brash.
Most decent cars were there. There was supposed to be a Zonda F turning up and a Koenigsegg CCR, but they didn't :( |
