Stumbled across this on Resident Advisor in the "Best set you've heard this year" thread. Words cannot really describe this set, so all I'll say is that I thought it was worth of it's own thread, lol. Check it out:
- random - beautiful - raw - timeless - magnificent - haunting - light years ahead of it's time
probably the most random yet also the most cohesive set I've ever heard in my life...

Hmmm I wasn't going to say anything as I don't know if any of the tapes work any more BUT the last time I went home, I brought some old house tapes back with me, DJ Sy, Ellis Dee, even Carl Cox at Kinetic from the early 90s. I have no idea whether they are hard acid house or if there will be a gem of a set like this in there - I'll let you know :)

Please do.

Finally got a chance to listen to this.
I absolutely love that early 90's unfinished, raw sound that electronica had. Not only the artists, but the DJ's them selves; mixes were just a bit more rough, and more diverse back then.
The music itself wasn't the best, but it was an enjoyable mix tape, and I would most definitely recommend it to others, especially if you only gotten into the new stuff. A bit of perspective with music is always a good idea.
Highroller, I can totally see why you liked this mix, considering where your music tastes are these days.
