Bang for the buck wise...no damn way.
Storm w/ 2yr contract: $250- $50 for "new every 2"- $50 mail-in rebate =$150
HTC Pro w/ 2yr contract: $420- $50 for "new every 2" - $70 mail-in rebate= $300
Is the HTC Pro twice as good as the Blackberry Storm to meet my needs? lets see.
The Storm has all the functions that i want (just like the HTC Pro) Things i don't care about : wi-fi (i will have an unlimited data plan) and TV-out. I don't plan to be doing any powerpoint presentations off my phone. Yes, the HTC Pro will probably have more apps, but being able to load the 1,000,000 apps that i don't care about does not concern me at all. |

I didn't even realize it had TV-out. I don't even care about that. lol Specs wise though, it owns it. Plus native code is awesome.
And the Touch Pro is 299 on Sprint for 2yrs. |

waiting for the mod/hack for diamond :mad: well no big deal really, supposedly its only VGA at 10fps
just glad fm radio works now :D im guessing sprint disabled this as it would cut into their sprint store revenues :rolleyes: still like my old sero plan though :D |

Being me, I wouldn't care what they disable, as long as the hardware is there, xda-devs is my friend. Everything gets re-enabled. :D I love those guys. |

It is. HTC phones will never compete with the bb if you are just trying to save money. If you are all about the bang for your buck go get a moto q or something. They are like $100 on 2yr contract. The BB only wins on price. Nothing more. And if price is a driving factor for everything, then go buy whatever is cheapest. You get what you pay for. |
