OMG deadmau5 called himself the headliner when he was actually one of 2 headliners that night.....
as if he should have given the bouncer some big story about how 'there are 2 headliners tonight and I am one of them, therefore you should let me into the club'
point is 'I am the DJ, let me in!'
how could he commit such a sin and call himself the headliner? He should acknowleged that he was only one of the headliners.... dont want the bouncer to get the wrong idea, that could lead to disasterous consequences :toothless |

technically he was opening for the headliner which makes him not the headliner. james zabiela was the headliner that night. |

Man, you guys are missing the point.
All I'm saying is this guy is always on some site, interview, etc saying controversial things about the scene, other DJs, etc.
Yes, he is successful, but it hasn't been for a long period of time. He probably will last many years in this business, but he is going around talking like he is Larry Levan or something and has been producing and releasing tracks professionally for 30 years.
Has he really paid his dues? Debatable. Should he be talking and being cocky the way he is now? Not really. The best thing for him would be to keep releasing his tracks, be modest, humble and apprecative of his success. That's the point... |

I've never really understood 'paying your dues' thing. Dude caught a lucky break and made big. It's like people are hating him for not playing opener for small clubs in middle of nowhere for years and making it the hard way. |

I agree with the paying your dues thing....he caught a break and has been able to ride that wave to the big times.
However, I do think he is being immature and unprofessional...sometime its just better to keep you mouth shut and he hasn't learned that yet. |
