I was just wondering what delay plugs you guys tend to use and why you use them (ease of use etc..).

I usually use abelton’s simple delay & tweak it to get what I’m looking for.
I use TAL-Dub sometimes too. The best thing about it is its free :)
evo8
Live's Simple Delay and Grain Delay, also UAD DM-1
cybernetica
Bionic Delay... great for those really long and wide feedbackish delays, and its free.

Basically Logic's delays when working in Logic, Live's delays when working with Live. Depends what I'm after.

Logic: Tape Delay for analog feedback fx. Stereo Delay for slap (turning off the sync) followed by a dirmixer to prevent from phasing out.

Live: Ping pong delay for stereo delay fx, followed by utility to reduce the width. Simple delay unsynced for slap and unsynced fx. Grain delay unscynced for great octave fx on a pad.

3rd party plugins: ohmboys and dubstation.

The secret of analog feedback inside the digital world?? Send a delay onto itself (with feedback on minimum!! WATCH YOUR SPEAKERS). Very useful when working in Reason or Live, that do not provide any tape delay.
Chronosis
Retro Delay for its versatility.

ALthough I don't like to, I'll typically use MGAUdio's freeware delay plugin. http://mgaudio.de/modules/main.php And sometimes for trippy FX I'll use this Roland Space Echo emulation. It's nowhere near as good as Universal Audio's, but it was only $25 ;) - http://www.genuinesoundware.com/?a=showproduct&b=26

I wish I could find a VST that is as easy to use and sounds as good as the Virus' delay. Anyone have a plugin suggestion for a delay that is as good as the Virus'?
