Looks like Live Nation is involved as well, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's some other live act or something totally unrelated, similar to what happened with Pendulum Live.

You guys are right - being a live nation event might mean having this event caater to the massives and possibly having the names mentioned earlier - am and barker (UGH...). Well, either case, hope details are put out soon so this event can capture people who still have yet to purchase armin or giant tickets (they will soon since prices will be going up).

Live Nation signed a 20-year lease at the Palladium and paid for all the recent renovations....so any event there will be a LN-run event. i doubt they will let anyone come in and rent the venue out for a party like you could before.
the NYE show is 8pm-2am. personally i have no idea who else is playing at it.

Ah I see. I thought IM would have booked the place and this was their own event. Guess thats just how they are promoting the event - IM and friends... haha

yes, Avaland is involved with two NYE events. One at Avalon with SanderK and the other at the Palladium with Infected Mushroom and others...
