Research- Radio Student looking to Expand Toronto Radio for Edm !

| Is everyone tired of the radio these days or is it just me ? ... I was wondering if Toronto would give support to a pro Edm Radio station? We only have one late night well thats good and all but i would like to hear beats all day long with advertisements being for clubs,producers,djs themselves to expand our scene ! Plz feel free to offer your opinions good or bad.. |

Who wouldn't want that? It's a lot easier said than done, and I'm sure it's on 246's agenda, but the problem lies in the FM dial:
What frequency were you planning on doing this on? |

| Well i work for a major radio label which at this moment I'm trying to get my voice heard through the grapevine.. But i am thinking definitely F.M. |

and you'd have to fight against satellite radio, and all the mainstream stations that play brap braaaap tunes
good luck though. i'd love to see an edm radio station from toronto area, esp if it does play non mainstream edm |

LOL sorry I meant what FM dial/station/channel etc.

| well that's when i love being in Toronto because the talent here is only getting better and that's scary he he so i would promote local talent often.. |

| I have an hour long mix show on CFRE radio which is UTM's radio station. The best way to listen to it now is online as the actual FM frequency is limited to the campus area which really sucks, but they are in talks this year to expand the frequency range further out in Mississauga and maybe even further. |
