Snowsquall warning for
Barrie - Collingwood - Hillsdale continued
Snow squalls continuing tonight into Tuesday.
This is a warning that snowsqualls are imminent or occurring in these regions. Monitor weather conditions..Listen for updated statements.
Cold northwest winds continue to generate flurries and localized snow squalls to the Lee of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay. One main band has been affecting localities around Collingwood throughout the day today..And will linger through the night into Tuesday morning. Further accumulations of 15 to possibly 20 centimetres are likely in portions of this area tonight. It should be emphasized that Barrie will receive very little out of this band.
A few bands continue to the southeast of Lake Huron as well. The main one extends from the Goderich area southeast to St Marys. They will tend to amalgamate into a more north to south line this evening as a trough of low pressure swings by. As a result they will shift out of regions southeast of Lake Huron towards the southern tip of Lake Huron around Sarnia. Localized amounts of 15 centimetres are likely in this band as it becomes more organized tonight near Sarnia.
In addition some whiteout conditions can be expected at times along with some blowing and drifting snow. |

Its been squalling literally the ENTIRE bloody day! STILL going! Snow squall warnings continuing... my GAWD... all the snow!! <3
Just had to dig through abt 15 inches of snow to get to my winter tires which were hidden under a tarp at the back of my backyard behind the shed... UGH. :S
And, we're still supposed to get another 6-8 inches of snow tonight!

Nothing in Toronto today (that I have seen)
But this weekend in Barrie...
Saturday night was crazy but woke up to a beautiful winter wonderland of what looked like a foot of snow.
Driving home Sunday it was so weird... just past Cookstown/Alliston there was next to no snow.
Gotta love the north.
I cant believe you guys got even MORE. |

Guys, why has snow become news in Ontario?
If there is a hurricane, hell even hail, then maybe, MAYBE start a thread. But for in SNOW? |
