Hi Guys, something a little bit different from me - this is an ambient piece of music which is based on one of my all time favourite films ''Aliens'' - i used it as an interlude on my latest album - the title 'LV 426' derives from the colony planet in the film.
Ive used different bits of speech from the movie, and paired it with a orchestral score i made - i think its quite an atmospheric track, fans of the film might enjoy it - would probably suit going together with a slow motion scene or something hehe.
Anyway,download & listen,and any comments/feedback would be appreciated.

Great atmosphere and dark sounds. I feel like the chord progression you have in here is a little too "bright" for a movie like Aliens, although it does work on its own as an interesting progression.
Keep posting more ambient stuff. ;) |

I like the samples from the film, but I might suggest tweaking the frequency cuts in the delay feedback, or adjust the delay pattern because some of the samples get a bit hard to understand.
I like the progression taken out of context from the film. I am listening on laptop speakers, but it seems like it could also use a bit of low end in that progression.
Other than that its very nice.
Keep making more ambient. Can never have enough! |

| Cheers for the comments joss, the voices are meant to be a bit hard to understand,as i wanted to capture the atmosphere of the film and the distorted, distant sounds - i put some of the same quote samples through different delay/reverb techniques. :) |
