I think I just secured a pair of VIP tickets on Kajiji for a rediculously low price... I'm crossing my fingers.
Yes, I know, I had 3 sets of 4 tickets for a 3-game stint, but I managed to sell them at a small loss early because they were overpriced. These VIPs will make up for the loss. |

Question:
If I'm coming from 427/Evans/Gardiner area, what is the best option to get downtown WITHOUT driving?
I tried looking at the GOtransit website, and it's pure bull. |

| I'll be driving... looking online what time I should get there, though prolly a couple of hours before the game starts for the buffet. I just got my VIP tickets, at the 45 yard line, w00t! |

123 To Kipling (The stop right on Browns Line and Evans by the gas station) There's two 123 route buses going by that stop. The other one goes down to Browns Line so make you don't get on that one. From Kipling Station take the subway to Union Station. It's about an hour of travel time. |

| There's lots of tickets left on craigslist at huge discounts. Lat minute people are desparate to sell them today. |

| I watched the game on TV and it seemed pretty dead in there. Hopefully, this will end any discussion of Toronto ever getting an NFL team. Toronto couldn't even sell out this game and it appeared to be very quiet in the stadium. |

| Amazing time yesterday and I'm paying for it today. Got into the Bud Tailgating area around noon and lasted until 3:00 pm - thank God for dressing in layers and my Uggs. Dome was packed at game time with a great vibe from all the diehard fans. I think the one-game-per-year option is great for Toronto but I don't see a full time NFL team working here. Glad I got to go and will definitely go again next year. :) |

It was so f'ing cold!!!!!!!!
I didn't last more than 2hrs at the tailgate (also got there for 12). They gave out toques at the entrance thankfully. I pigged out on the oysters, had bison ribs and sushi, and some free drinks. We then went to the dome where it was nicely climate controlled. The food was great, I ate lots of crab cakes, and jumbo shrimp with mojito salza. They had plenty of food layed out for anyone to take as they pleased.
Kreesha Turner totally wrecked our national anthem, sang too slow and pitchy, the crowd got so annoyed we started singing over her until the whole stadium drowned her out... such an embarassment for her.
The game was boring if you're a Bills fan, since all the great plays were by the Dolphins. I'll do it again next year if again I pick up some good seats again from the desparate last minute sellers on Craigslist.

Keep this Bills in Buffalo!
1) Toronto crowds for most events resembles a funeral
2) We overcharge for everything
3) Its illegal to tailgate here. Think of the parking fines and drinking fines! Unless they loosen the Nanny rules here it's a no go.
4) We can barely sell out the stadium when it's a novelty. Just think of a few years from now. |
