scrap metal scheme

say i a half semi truck and a desire to steal shopping carts. maybe skimming like ten carts from a bunch of local stores. what are the chances of me getting arrested if i try and scrap em?
metal prices are too high for me not to jump into some kind of money making scheme.
does anyone have any idea what kind of questions i might face at the scrap yard?
what if i cut em up real good?
i choose shopping carts because they are out in the open, plentiful, and no one will notice if a few go missing...so who has any info in metal recycling that will prevent me from going straight to jail?

You would be better off garbage picking & picking out scrap aluminum & stainless steel. Your then looking at 65 cents a pound rather than 4 cents. |

plus if you got caught stealing shopping carts for scrap it only pays 3-5 years of ass pounding! |

never heard of trailer park boys...here i thought i had an original idea...
and i have a legal job, i just like extra money and adventures.
i know there are other metals worth more like aluminum, but that requires a lot of searching...gas... and time it takes for something like that sounds like too much work for my taste. shopping carts are all metal, i know where plenty of em are, and theyll go unnoticed if i only take a few from each place. the way i look at it, im just taking the stray carts out of the parking lot so im probably helping people by creating a safer area to park without their car getting hit by a runaway cart. and im recycling. ill only take em from large businesses so it wont really affect anyone directly... im gonna test the waters tomorrow by returning a really beat up one and see if they say anything. if it goes well i will go ahead with the plan. |
