So i was wondering how do all you EDM heads keep up with the latest track/album releases? Are there some websites that always mention new releases?

This one.

I don't, mostly. What I do sample doesn't convince me very well to get back into keeping up, since it often seems like the two extremes of cheesepop and spare emotion-free throwaway beats are the two most popular kinds of dance music right now.

Why are you looking at what's popular? ;)

Yeah, maybe I have just grown lazy in my searching.

Well I sure don't "keep up". It's harder than ever these days with my edm tastes much wider, and the the easy access to being a producer, meaning many more releases...but i use this site and then I just sort of wander around beatport for something I like. If I find something I just spread out from there.

beatport, RA, discogs, charts

I browse beatport new releases once every 3 days at least

I only look for releases made by artists im already fan of.

Too much music out there to keep up with all the new music coming out.

Yeah, I keep tabs on the Beatport New Releases, as well as reading the New Release threads a couple subforums down.
-FSP-
there are literally hundreds of releases for every genre released daily.

realistically, it's hard to keep up.

i just use word of mouth (like in this forum), try and get lucky by surfing beatport new releases, or see what other djs are playing.
