is anyone going?
I've finally got time to breathe from UofT's craziness so I'm contemplating of hitting this up. I think it's a good getaway from this depressing weather too with some deep, summery tunes.
always heard deep house in lounges so a *party* of this kind (AND duration) has the potential to be different on so many levels...
p.s. I thought I had a Miguel Migs set sitting on my hard drive somewhere..but I can't seem to find it. So if you have any of his sets, please share the link! |

I was thinking more along the lines of "a local over migs? say wha?"
I'm actually going to this! Given that I get up before 6am for work on Friday morning, I'm not sure I'll be there late enough to even hear Migs, but the openers are always good at these parties regardless.
What time do we think Migs will come on? |

So who went? I had such a fun time! I really miss the deep house scene. So many people there for the music and just givin er on the dancefloor. The vibe is always great at deep house events and this was no different! Despite being up for work at 5:30am Friday morning I made it til about 2:30 before I had to call it a night.
I kind of liked the opener more than Migs. |

that was Dirty Dale.
I had an ok time. I went there to meet up w/ a friend who was doing the bday thing.
I found most of the music to be kinda non-descript and Migs wasn't doing anything to really hold my attention when I left around 2:15. |

| I found Migs to be pretty bland too. I wouldn't call the music commercial, but it was a bit too pop-ish for me. Still, had a great time. |
