Here;s my review:
*disclaimer...poster had 2 151 & colas, 1 crown and coke, and 1 long island ice tea. yes he managed to drive his ass home okay. Rule of thumb is: The more I drink, the more honest I get.*
Pros:
-Crystal Method had their together for the most part. Crowd was into it, I managed to discreetly cop a few feels. Good times.
Cons:
-James Reed. In my most humble opinion, I am not the leading authority on how to open. In my most egotistical opinion, James Reed can not. My theory is, after 11:00pm, enough of the club patrons will have drank enough to dance to just about anything. James had an empty dancefloor until 11:30. The same could be said for EVERY ING EVENT I have been to at Riches where the said DJ has opened. He doesn't trainwreck, but his sets are inconsistent. He mixes out of key, which...not every DJ utilizes harmonic mixing. But it seems like he doesnt even try at times. That's all I got on that...and again, its my opinion anyway. (look, I dont kiss ass..and if this costs me any gigs in Houston, so f*cking be it.) :whip:
-One of the downsides of Crystal Methods set was that I noticed they covered their beatmatching mishaps with alot of effects.
-The obvious transvestites on the dancefloor.
-Women in the guys bathroom. Okay.....here's my issue with that. If they wanna see some dick, all they gotta do is ask. And if they think its okay to come in the men's restroom like its cool, they shouldnt have a problem with me goin in the girl's room like a perv. Really...I've never understood that . But hey, they wanna look at my dick..I aint got nothin to hide.
Overall............yeah I had fun. I was surprised both of them recognized me from 2 years ago in San Antonio.:) |
