I usually hate Sullivan Room. I've never had a good time there. But last night was different. This was probably the best Sullivan Room party I've been too. The place was packed out so the venue seemed bigger, the vibe was great, and the music was on point. Satoshi's first two hours were kinda boring, but he got really good for the remainder of his set (which was longer than 4 hours)

I must add that Sullivan Room has a very organized door policy. There was reasonably long line outside the club & the bouncers kept everyone well informed on where ticket holders & guestlist people can go. Not like other places where you wait in the wrong place for a hour.

And they got a laser :gsmile:

Sullivan Room is the last place that I would expect to see a laser.

Got there early and stayed until about 445. Satoshi was awesome. The funny thing to me was, to my ears at least, there was no single track that was an absolute bomb, but every single track was solid and progressed perfectly off the track before it. The crowd was dancing and upbeat the entire time. Zack and Keryn played an excellent set early on too, as I was really digging the deep house/prog kinda vibe that really set the proper mood for the evening. Great night all around.

Thats whats up!!!

Hey where were you buddy??

What a great night, not that I am surprised but everything really seemed to come together for this one. Satoshi is definitely a pioneer in my eyes and you really can see his passion for music come through in his sets. I knew from the beginning he was going to make it a long one, he is such a patient dj with an amazing abiltiy to build a set while keeping the people interested. The crowd really came together for this one and just gave off such a good vibe the entire night. Glad I could be a part of something so special! Definitely a huge night for Sullivan Room and I agree with Tom, they really handed the crowd well!

WOW!

Thanks for all the nice words on the night guys. We had such an amazing time. Zack and Keryn you both set it off nicely and it just got going from there.

Satoshi's set was really something special. Few DJs can do what he did. We all know what a legend he is, but for him to come do it at our party, at Sulllivan Room, with such a great crowd in the house...it was just perfect.

Pics are up on my facebook page and here's a video :)
