What you're really stating here is that you do not have the ability to critically evaluate evidence and form a conclusion therefrom.

I can accept that there are legitimate questions regarding Jesus and the Buddah but Mohammad and JFK... you're nuts, their births, lives, and deaths are well documented and we know exactly where both are buried. At some point you have to accept evidence that is beyond your individual experience or direct observation otherwise you remain as an infant; believing there is no existence beyond yourself.
Anyone who doesn't have primary source evidence eg. experiencing or seeing something themself has the right not to beleive.

While this is true there is a difference between actively seeking to exterminate people and delaying the rescue of said people until it you have sufficient resources and strategical advantage to increase the probability that the operation would be successful and not divert resources critical to the larger war effort.

That may be the worst bit of moral relativism I've heard. Sure, Canada and the US had camps where Japanese persons were interred during the war... partly for national security, partly for their own security, but mostly due to irrational fear. There is one hell of a difference; however, between holding people in a secure facility and killing people on an industrial scale. |

And even then you could be hallucinating.
But you are making an academic point. When you come down to it, there is something called "weighing evidence." You look at an idea and see what evidence it has in its favor, and what evidence it has against it. Then you adjust your beliefs accordingly. Treating skepticism as a license to believe anything is inane and sophomoric. |

I am serious from time to time, I just very rarely see it necessary to let you all know - if my point is worth taking seriously, then I shouldn't need to explain that much to you.
And really, people who deny the holocaust occurred are hardly worth taking seriously, so I treat it as such; the same goes for a great deal of topics here. |
