Hey guys, can anyone recommend any gem spots to study that are quiet and open early/late? I come in to the office on weekends, but on weekdays I'm having trouble finding somewhere that isn't a zoo, especially as we get close to exams at U of T. I've been studying at the gerstein library...

Help?

Food court under Brookefield Place (Formerly BCE Place). Pretty quiet Friday through Sunday. You may get the odd pack of people going to the Hockey Hall of Fame, but it's not that popular, so the chances are low. :p

Yeah, I mean for the next 10 days.
Re. Brookfield place on weekends - I just come in to the office. As I'm doing right now.

St. Michael's library, third floor; there are four desks tucked away in the corner against the wall where all the enclosed cubicle things are located.

The rear lobby (facing parking gargage) at North York General has my vote.

If you are a U of T student, I strongly suggest that you go to Bahen Centre (40 St George). You probably won't find a quieter spot in Toronto to study, and it's open 24/7. Go up to 3rd floor and enter the Great Hall of Computing. Enjoy the silence. :p

Actually, that's a good suggestion.

I would say ANY food court in the PATH system that is in any building.

Since 99.99% of restaurants/fast food places are closed on the weekends, you only have a few randoms and homeless people around.

nifty narcotix
Definitely the Bahen Centre
