you're damn right! i would be an excellent stewardess person for this fat flight.

but really, why do they need 2 seats? that's so awkward. it'll make them stand out so much more. if they want to travel, they should make the choice NOT to be ing fat. haven't they seen that one scene in "in brudges" where colin farrell makes fun of the fat americans?

Seriously. Aren't all the fatties in America anyways?

I'll bet it's all of those kids who moved to Canada when Bush was re-elected 4 years ago - all of that legal weed finally caught up to them.

Or some American tourists complained. Oh man, I actually prefer that one. :stongue:

It'd only work if he was in a fat suit dressed in drag. That's the trend that seems most popular.

Really, this is a symptom of the hyper-politeness of Canadians... we know you Yanks have a fat-ass problem and you feel badly about it... so we decided we should have some highly visible token fatties around so that when you visit you don't feel like you're the only ones with a McDonalditis epidemic.

edit: you of all people should have some sympathy

Sympathy? Are you kidding me? More often than not it's their own fault for being so damn obese. A minority of them have a clinical or genetic condition which means that their metabolism is weak. That's fair enough and I have no problems with those people.

However, the other majority who are just too lazy to exercise and have no self control when it comes to eating, why the hell should we have to subsidise their poor life choices? I'm all for my taxes and anything else helping out with healthcare, but this is not health care. It's us normal people needing to compromise our lives and our beliefs for these slobs who are unwilling to do something about being fat.

Please. There is NOTHING beneficial about being obese. It is a health risk so why is modern society making it out to be acceptable? It is not acceptable. It puts a strain on the health system, on relationships, on every day lives, on transport and on numerous other things. Obesity has become a world wide epidemic which is absolutely disgraceful when there are millions of people around the world who can't even get enough food to survive.

Chem was talking to me directly, as I used to be an obese person.
