Simplistic, CPU friendly Sampler?

Hy everyone, I'm looking for a simple sampler player for use in Logic 8, because I don't like the EXS 24... It's very complicated to make simple tasks like load a single sample, or search for another sample previewing and playing... I'm looking for something like Simpler that comes with Ableton Live, something CPU friendly and smart...

tks

u could rewire with reason and use redrum there, its awesome, tho not a vst. have u tried native intruments battery, it supposely is better than redrum too but probably more complicated.

Hi Lolo, this software appears to be exactly what I'm looking for, but it seems to be an abandon... The last manufacturer site update is too old.

Palm, I'm looking for a full scale playing sampler, not a drum synth.. I use Battery and for a drum synth is much better than the Logic's built-in Ultrabeat. Ultrabeat is also too complicated and turns little tasks in a headache!

I like to be fast and smart in sample management...

if u have reason try nn-xt.

I think the rewire is a CPU eater function.. Maybe I'm wrong, never tried..
But really I do not plain to use Reason..

ok then i cant help u i dont use vst :D
cristianokeller
Ok, but thanks for your reply..

Reason is a very limited tool as it is. I think that everybody dream the day that Propellerheads releases Reason modules also as VSTs/AU versions.

as far as i know no one would need anything but thor or redrum and maybe scream as vst, as there are just as good tools out there anyway. and this might also hurt propellerheads business.

Anyone?
