facebook is lame. its to clutter with nonsense. I feel special inside when people buy me as their pet though.

Facebook is way better than Myspace, but lately I have been tempted to just delete my Facebook page. I don't have a Myspace either. So it would just basically take me out of the public eye in that aspect.

TA is the only footprint I leave anywhere. People always ask what my myspace is or my facebook is and are shocked to hear that I don't do any social networking whatsoever. It always leads to a barrage of inquiries as to why, to which I just make up a terrific story until they leave me alone.

Im not a big facebook fan. I pretty much only use it for promotions, and all i know how to do is accept friends, and make event invitations. I find there is a lot of event spam from other promotors in my inbox.

I promoted my event 2 weeks ago using facebook, invited over 2400+ people from different networks (as other people can forward the invitation)

how do you do that? I DO notice the event invites are great, and people do come.. but how do you invite people from different networks? (I only know how to invite friends...) :D

LOL not true, but if you act like Krypton, BTG, or a few others, you will get from everyone.

lol I have just been getting so sick of being online as much and having such a damn effervescent presence that I no longer really want.

Basically you have to let a few people that you trust (preferably they belong to different network too), to become admins for your event/group.

Take for example, this facebook group that I created
http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=45359750379

I made a few of my friends that I trust to become admin, then we created an event (check out the bottom right corner on the Event section), and have that event OPEN for everyone to invite. Then the invited guests themselves started to INVITE more people to come...

Kinda let the guests do the work, but it's just awesome, of course because the guests want their friends to come too! Sounds a bit complicated? You need to try it at least once :)

Facebook is a billion times better than MySpace for promotion and general "chat".

MySpace is much better for messaging and friends.
