Yeah in terms of the misspellings thats what happens when you rush a project b4 a deadline and use a phone to (mis)communicate content. So OOPS! 'n our bad. As far as the website goes what we've got up is just a prototype and we're working on the real thing aws.
ANYWAY for anyone out there interested in the substance of what we're trying to do, we're brand new, not promoters but regular trance fans, and allot of people are looking for just what we're trying to do: start a positive community of trancers...and yea uplifting trance is all about the positive.
Hard to believe but nyc doesnt have a euphoric trance scene and it should. Instead of just promoting a club event we want to start a community. With not just trance parties but other events, charities, get-togethers in parks and trips to trance festivals around the world. For more info on our mission check out tranceNY.com(and yeah, please ignore the misspellings).
Anyone interested is def encouraged to send over your email to get on our email list. You can also get back to our website in about a month or two when it'll be open to the world for trance fans to get connected w each other wherever they are.
If anyone wants to contact me w any questions, suggestions or whatever just email me!
Peace
+D

uh... you're complaining about a lack of a community specifically for euphoric trance. so you want to start basically a ETA (euphoric trance addict) website.
interesting.
why not just find people on TA instead. |

| Because vast majority regulars on ta don't do anything but flame. Sometimes if you don't have anything positive to say maybe it's better to just keep it to yourself. The guy sure is a little ridicilous but jesus u guys just ted pretty much on every aspect of what he wants to do... :( |

im not sure how well all "uplifting" trance events would go. dont think id like to be \o/ every 2 minutes.
this does make me think though - why didn't NYTA's ever start throwing their own events? we've got lots of people working with promo companies already... ;P |

i'm confused, ta IS a community if you want it to be. there are tons of people here who do stuff with each other outside of promoting events. once you meet people out eventually some of them actually become your friends because you have similar interests outside of the music. i've done after work happy hour with tas, gone to hockey games, concerts, brunch, etc. i don't really think you NEED a new site, you just need to meet the people who are already here. you are bound to find people with similar interests between ta and t.nu since both are established sites.
also, you should never rush a project because now the first impression is that you don't know what you are doing. if it's not right don't do it until it is.
