hmm, i wasn't there when sander played with the room flipped with the dj from the vip, but every other time i've seen it like that/played with the room turned like that (leger, jamie jones, dixon ame) it was a marked improvement on the use of the space and i never noticed a problem with the sound.
that being said on a night like new years, i'm pretty sure they will have the dj on the stage, in order to maximize the number of people they can get in.

Last was year was insane! I bet it's gonna be crazy packed this year! But Avalon is one of the few places that I don't mind it. There's plenty of roaming space and the sound and view is just fine from the balcony. Honey and the lobby are great places to chill too (as long as those areas aren't too packed).

Sander will be playing at least 5.5 hours, maybe six. His set should start a little before midnight. He is planning and preparing something special for the countdown.
