i am having trouble understanding this?
which terrorists are doing this and why are they doing it in India.
also, if they are targetting foreigners, only 6 out of 100 foreigners have been killed and only 1 Brit. |

| Was just there a couple weeks ago...very scary. I was at the JW Marriott in Juhu Beach (another 5 star hotel) but I went to the Taj and the gateway, etc... I can't imagine still being there. I was walking around like the westerner I am - you know, ownin' the place, man what a fool. |

yeah, they're all okay.
Apparently, my mom's cousin who lives in the vicinity of Taj hotel could hear the gun shots being fired.
At this point, 100 people are still trapped inside one of the hotels :( |

Just saw a few hostages being released. One of them was carrying a little baby! :nervous:
I hope this can be resolved soon. Apparently the terrorists want places for muslims in India? I didn't quite understand what the guy was saying on TV as it was muffled. |

Was that a BBC video? I can't hear any audio in the link they have up on their website, but I presume it must be some talk over the Kashmir issue. |

| just found out that a friend of mine is there for a family wedding. he is staying about a block away from where some of the violence has taken place. crazy. hopefully everything works out quickly. |

Just found out that my friends from work were able to get out of there early and have now made it back safe and sound....I can't even imagine how scary it was to be over there when this was happening around you :(
Liam, Kelly, and everyone else who has friends and family over there...I really hope they are all safe. |

CNN has done a terrible job at reporting this. They did not report that 2 of the terrorists were captured, and that one of the terrorists called a local new channel from inside the hotel and they had a live conversation for almost 10 minutes about their motifs and so on.The conversation was televised on TV in India as it happened live. Many other important things that have happened have not been reported due to the lack of resources of CNN in India.
www.rediff.com is a major news website in India. Most of the news can be found there. or www.timesofindia.com .
Regardless, very sad news. |
