First track off the rack is Portion Control, given the fresh from holiday in Thailand treatment by Joel Mull. If you haven’t heard of Joel, then you shouldn’t even be reading this. A true to form techno mix that’s got as much momentum as the man behind it’s career.
Don’t Hide What You Believe has been given a tech-house rework by Patrick Zigon, who’s discography reads like blueprint to remixing all the right artists for all the right labels and is fast becoming a tech house frontrunner. This is the one for all you lovers of melodic tech house and has warm up set written all over it.
Mark Broom, one of the UK’s technoriginals has reworked B-Dub into pure frowning techno. Keeping the signature sounds from the original and setting them against a 909-powered groove, this one charges from one warped synth drop to another.
Coalition Of The Killing, otherwise known as Jason Short and hailing from the U.S of A is fast earning himself a spot on America’s most eligible techno bachelors list with a string of appearances on Fortier’s own Fade imprint, Karloff and Lobotomy Records. A low slung dubbed out minimal groover that focuses on some of the twisted sounds from the Chris’ original.
